We explored how paintings can take several months to develop. Photographs taken in situ enable the creation of the finished view.

Initial sketches were completed in our second session with Rachel. She took us through the process of developing and creating a landscape painting over a sustained period of time. Constructing composition and colour enables the creation of an atmospheric view.
