Denise Tindale Workshops January 2023
Denise joined us for two sessions this January and we enjoyed her animated support for our mono-print efforts.
Denise art teacher/tutor background and extensive and prolific portfolio of personal work was an inspiration for the group. Her exquisite oil and watercolour paintings, etchings, drawings and mono-prints include botanical paintings, landscapes and ancient built environments.
We prepared backgrounds of colour for our roller inked mono-prints and drawn details. Torn newspaper prints added texture.
We multi-layered textures and experimented with backgrounds, prints and drawn coloured finishes to produce our mono-prints.
Images can be reversed and repeated. Ink has to be rolled finely for a clear finish.
